00:00Michael was the first to share his story.
00:03I started Showbiz not because I wanted it growing up.
00:07Actually, it just started because my dad, fun fact,
00:10auditioned for PBB Season 2.
00:13And from then, he couldn't continue his dreams of auditioning
00:16because my grandfather, his father, was sick at the time.
00:19So, he chose to prioritize, of course, our grandfather.
00:22So, it didn't work out.
00:24One time, this was 2020,
00:26there was an audition online for PBB Connect.
00:29He said,
00:30Tuy, try it, audition for it.
00:31I did this when I was a kid, just for fun.
00:33Until eventually, in my room,
00:34I was bored because of the pandemic.
00:36So, I said, okay, I'll try it.
00:37And then, the following night,
00:39someone texted,
00:40Oh, you made it pass, blah, blah, blah.
00:42So, I made process, process, progress.
00:44And then, it didn't work out.
00:46There was another audition.
00:47I said, okay, I'll audition again.
00:49This was for PBB Teens.
00:50It didn't work out because I met Sparkle at the time.
00:55I was chosen to be a part of Sparkada.
00:57That was my group.
00:58And then, for a long period of time,
01:00I had to wait without projects.
01:02And that's when I was struggling.
01:03And that's when reality hit me
01:06that I'm independent now.
01:07I moved to the Philippines at 18.
01:09I grew up in a family.
01:10Fortunately, we were fortunate enough
01:12to have food on the table.
01:14We always ate together.
01:16And maybe here in the Philippines,
01:19I experienced being alone.
01:21So, I would go home to myself, eating.
01:24And then, I couldn't share stories with anybody.
01:27And I couldn't tell anything about my day.
01:29And I wasn't used to that.
01:30It was hard for me because
01:31it wasn't like I'm from here.
01:33I was based here. No.
01:35I moved here from scratch.
01:37And I don't have friends.
01:39It's something I really wished I had.
01:41Because when I had Sparkada,
01:44they were...
01:45I always see stuff like that as a family.
01:47It's a blessing.
01:49Because there's times that
01:52I really wanted this dream.
01:53But the biggest sacrifice was my family
01:55and my life in Canada.
01:56But I said, one day, this will be all worth it.
01:59Luckily, I was able to prove to the network
02:02that I deserve the show.
02:04And they gave me a break with one of my biggest shows.
02:06And I was so grateful for that.
02:08But when the news was out
02:11that there's a PBB this season,
02:12I really said yes to it.
02:14Because it was my biggest prayer when I started.
02:17Full circle moment for me because finally, I'm here.
02:19I don't know how long I'll be here.
02:20I don't know how long this will last.
02:22But I'm already thankful because
02:24to you, all of you guys are my family.
02:27And thank you.
02:28I'm just like him.
02:29And he's just like me.
02:31The connection is different now.
02:33Now, I look at him like he's a brother.
