(Adnkronos) - La presidente della Commissione Europea Ursula von der Leyen, con il piano ReArmEu, “ci porta in una economia di guerra”, accusa il leader del M5S Giuseppe Conte a Strasburgo, a margine della plenaria del Parlamento Europeo.

00:00If there really were serious rulers who represent us,

00:06they would have to meet for weeks, months, whatever is necessary,

00:13and come up with a serious common defense project,

00:17which means coordination of acquisitions, integrated strategies,

00:21it means a unit of command that they will never want to reach,

00:26and so they understand that even in terms of efficiency

00:30we are going in the completely wrong direction.

00:33But I repeat, let's not deceive our citizens,

00:37that security can be guaranteed by buying a few more weapons.

00:42And if we reason in these terms, indeed, let's tell the truth,

00:46that we are creating even more insecurity,

00:50because we are throwing a signal,

00:53rather than in the right direction,

00:56of a perspective of peace, security, dialogue, mediation,

01:00we are going in a counter-threat perspective,

01:03so we are feeding a military escalation, neither more nor less.

01:09Today von der Leyen and all our European governments

01:13are taking the risk of creating a war perspective,

01:16it brings us to a war economy.
