00:00A new budget envelope of more than 3.27 billion dirhams was allocated to the funding of the
00:20project of the extension of the Tanger airport Ibn Battuta. This extension aims to triple the
00:25capacity of the airport, which will go from 2 to 7 million passengers per year. The project is
00:31framed by a partnership agreement between several entities, including the National Office of
00:37Airports and the Willaya of the Tanger region, Tietouan al-Husayma. The work, which will extend
00:42over nearly 199 hectares, will include the construction of a new passenger terminal,
00:47a new control tower for parking, aircraft and vehicles, as well as the installation of
00:52modern equipment such as e-gates and smart systems. A new access route will also be
00:58planned. In national economic news, Morocco will also benefit from a loan from France
