Dog rescued from icy pond by local workers after falling into freezing water

This is the moment a dog was rescued by local workers after accidentally falling into a hole in an icy pond.

The stray pup became trapped in the middle of an icy pond in Qingdao, China, during the freezing January temperatures.

Local garden workers spotted the animal in distress and used a net attached to ropes to help pull it out of the frigid water.
