🎬 Paanch (2003) is a gritty, unreleased Indian crime thriller directed by Anurag Kashyap in his debut. The film dives deep into the dark psyche of five young band members whose lives spiral into chaos after a kidnapping plan goes horribly wrong.

🧠 Plot Overview
The story follows a rock band called The Parasites, living in a Mumbai chawl.

In desperate need of money to record their first album, they hatch a plan to fake-kidnap their wealthy bandmate Nikhil.

Things take a sinister turn when Nikhil is accidentally murdered, triggering a chain of violence, betrayal, and psychological unraveling.

The film is loosely inspired by the real-life Joshi-Abhyankar serial murders that shook Pune in the late 1970s.
