Unveiling Kerala’s Hidden Art: The 800-Year-Old Metal Mirror! ✨
Did you know that Kerala is home to one of the world’s rarest mirrors—crafted not from glass, but METAL? 🤯

I recently traveled to Aranmula, a small village in Kerala, to witness the extraordinary 800-year-old tradition of making the Aranmula Kannadi—a mirror so unique that it reflects with absolute clarity, without any distortion! This rare craft is preserved by the Vishwakarma community, and I was fortunate to meet Sudamal, the only woman who single-handedly manages this traditionally male-dominated art form.

🔥 What Makes These Mirrors So Special?
✅ Handcrafted with a secret metal alloy—not regular glass!
✅ A sacred symbol in Kerala’s heritage, believed to bring prosperity.
✅ Each mirror takes weeks of effort, skill, and precision.

As I walked through the mirror-filled streets of Aranmula, I got a behind-the-scenes look at the intense process of shaping, polishing, and perfecting these mirrors—an art form passed down through generations. The dedication, craftsmanship, and passion of these artisans blew me away!

Through my videos, I strive to bring Indian cultures and hidden traditions to the world, one district at a time. 🌍✨
