Widespread fungal disease and colliding harvests wreak havoc on Australian mangoes

Mango growers and wholesalers say it’s been a disappointing season for the iconic Territory fruit, despite promising early signs last year. The industry has in the meantime asked the federal government to use production levies to research a cure for a fungal disease, wreaking havoc on yields of popular varieties.
