Washington, 26 feb. (askanews) - L'Unione europea "è stata essenzialmente concepita per fregare gli Stati Uniti", ma presto subirà dazi del 25% sulle sue automobili e altri prodotti. Ad annunciarlo, al termine della prima riunione del suo esecutivo, è il presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump, che fin dalla campagna alettorale ha agitato la minaccia di colpire quasi tutti i partner commerciali degli Usa con dazi per frenarne l'import.  "L'Unione Europea è un caso diverso dal Canada, un caso diverso. Si sono approfittati di noi in modo diverso. Non accettano le nostre auto. Non accettano, essenzialmente, i nostri prodotti agricoli. Usano ragioni di ogni genere per non farlo", ha detto Trump rispondendo alla domanda di un giornalista dopo la riunione del governo.
