India's navy successfully conducted the launch of its anti-ship missile.
The missile launch took place in conjunction with India's premier military and research organisation Defence Research and Development Organisation in eastern Odisha's Chandipur.
The missile uses indigenous technology and has the ability to retarget in flight.
India employs more than 1.47 million active troops in its armed forces.
