00:00The nationwide cash gift to senior citizens under the Expanded Centenarian Law will be distributed starting tomorrow.
00:08In a statement of Radyo Pilipinas, the National Commission of Senior Citizens Officer-in-Charge, Mary Jean Loreche said
00:15that the cash gift will amount to P10,000 for senior citizens aged 80, 85, 90, 95, and 100.
00:24Loreche clarified that the fund allocated to the commission is for the 275,000 beneficiaries this year.
00:31The first payout will start tomorrow until March 15,
00:35while the beneficiaries from March 17, 2024 until December 31, 2024 will go to the waitlist.
00:43The NCSC is encouraging senior citizens to go to the Office of the Senior Citizens Affair
00:50to guide them in the processes and requirements.
00:53A ceremonial inauguration of the law will be held tomorrow in Malacanang led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
