00:12In his interview with Radyo Pilipinas, DTI Secretary Maria Cristina Roque said
00:17that the agency is now helping to lead large e-commerce platforms in the country.
00:24DTI assured that they will be strict in monitoring and seriously discussing the matter.
00:29She also reminded the public to be vigilant in online shopping.
00:34She also instructed buyers to immediately report to DTI
00:38products that are substandard and not approved by the agency,
00:42along with the assurance that they will immediately take action.
00:47We just have to make sure that the products we buy have the seal of DTI
00:53or we have to make sure that these products are not substandard products.
01:04And if they are, they need to report it to DTI.

01:13and we will act on it right away.
01:17We really monitor and enforce on a regular basis.
01:20Because we really have a department for this.
01:24So we really don't neglect these.
01:28And we also have the 18 regions, Region 1 to Region 18,
01:32to really monitor these products.
01:34But as consumers, we also need to be vigilant
01:38so that we can protect ourselves from these fraudulent sellers.
