00:00We need two things. One, less people and less consumption and both of them, both of them

00:07together. Even if one of them is missing, you are gone. U.S. has not too many people.

00:15Just 32 crores are there and yet they are the biggest carbon emitters in the world because

00:21they consume. On the other end is China. China, the per capita consumption is 1 by 5 or 1

00:27by 10 of the USA and yet they are number two on the carbon list. Why? Because they

00:32are just too many. You need a situation where there are not more than 2 or 3 billion people

00:37in the world. That has been scientifically calculated to be the sustainable limit and

00:41currently we are 8 billion. We need to reduce it to 2 or 3 billion. That's the first thing.

00:46Secondly, these 2 or 3 billion people have to be spiritual so that they do not have a

00:50tendency to consume. Unless you are spiritual, you are bound to be living a consumption centric

00:57life.
