00:12Especially, such realistic films are invited to Indore Dubai International Film Festival.

00:25In real life, a lot of film makers face a lot of difficulties.

00:34The film festival is organized so that all these artists can get an international audience.

00:43The relationship between India and Dubai has been there for a long time.

00:51How did you come up with the idea of organizing this film festival?

00:57This is the first edition of Indore Dubai International Film Festival.

01:04Not only film makers from India and Dubai, but also film makers from all over the world have come here.

01:18We have done our best to connect with them.

01:22Our main mission is to release the challenges of many independent film makers.

01:35If the film is not released, we are trying to meet them face to face.

02:34We have been in the UAE for the past 40 years.

02:37There is not much of a difference between the UAE and India because it is so very much alike.

02:43The culture of the film industry, whether it is Bollywood or South Industry,

02:49the whole of India is very well connected.

02:51There is no separation.

02:54I don't think there is a bridge. I think we are one.

02:56We are there since 1982.

02:58My parents are from Bombay.

03:00Our roots are from Mangalore.

03:02If you come down to the UAE, you will see it is an extended India.

03:07Especially because of the local culture.

03:10Generally, the locals in the UAE love Indian films.

03:14It's not just about Indian films.

03:16There is an international appeal because it is a multicultural country.

03:20All kinds of cinema is created over there.

03:24We want to try and bridge the gap between the two countries and make it one industry.

03:28That is why I am here to represent the UAE as an industry.

03:31To show that we are all one when it comes to cinema and creating stories.

03:35Hopefully, we just merge and become one big industry and create more talents.

03:40Talents from the UAE can do bigger films here in India.

03:43People from India also take talent from the UAE and vice versa.

03:51How are you enjoying this film festival as well?

03:54It's amazing to see the amount of talent that there is and all of the stories.

03:59We've had really deep moments and emotional moments.

04:03I'm really enjoying the films today.

04:06We've had some beautiful moments, a lot of emotion, a lot of difficult, hard topics as well.

04:11I'm really grateful to be here and to be able to witness all of the talent in the festival.

04:27What do you think about the relationship between France, India and Dubai in the future?

04:35What's your message for the Indian and French audiences?

04:43Thank you so much for that question.

04:46I was indeed born and raised in France.

04:49I left when I was 18 years old.

04:52I've been traveling and living in different countries for 15 years now.

04:56I currently live in Dubai.

04:58I think the relationship between all of our countries has huge benefits.

05:02I believe in the message of this festival, the Indo-Dubai Festival, around breaking borders

05:07and really bringing the world together through the power of storytelling and film.

05:12So, here's to hopefully a global audience, full film, breaking all of the silos and coming into one whole humanity.

05:23On the other hand, I'm glad to see a completely different kind of storytelling.

05:27I know that God is above everything.

05:31Practical life and film, these two are on the same level.

05:38What do you think about the relationship between practical life and educational life?

05:50It's a visual implementation.

05:55The way we teach theory and moral values, we see it with our eyes.

06:02In a short period of time, we see things happening and we see their repercussions.

06:06In real life, it may take years.

06:09This is very, very important and very effective.

06:13Because in a short period of time, the whole thing is visualized and then it affects the person who is watching.

06:20And believe me, children's minds are very open.

06:23We can convey a lot.

06:25It's difficult to introduce a grown-up idol or teach them anything.

06:31Because they have their own thinking style, their own judgment.

06:35But children don't have that.

06:37They are like soft clay.

06:39If I can bring these kinds of films into their lives, it will make a lot of difference.

06:45And it will motivate them.

06:47The day they make it, the day they develop the film, I think humanity should celebrate.

06:53What do you think of the AC team here?

06:55Very good.

06:57The way they are telling, the way they are implementing their ideas.

07:06When we were introduced to the short film club in our school, I saw the hard work of the kids.

07:11I saw a 10-minute film here.

07:14But how hard they worked to shoot it, how consistent they were, and how dedicated they were.

07:20It is a huge thing.

07:22I'm enjoying it.

07:24It's a great thing to be with Vinod and Mathura at the same time.
