00:00Security and Exchange Board of India's President Madhavi Puri Bush officially launched a Rs 250 SIP on February 21, 2025.
00:15This was first done by the Association of Mutual Funds in India, AMFI,
00:20while the SBI Mutual Fund House and State Bank of India presented it at the beginning of this week,
00:27in which only Rs 250 SIP can be started and more than Rs 17 lakh fund can be collected by saving regularly every month.
00:36So let's explain the entire calculation in detail in this video.
00:40First of all, let's tell you about the Jan Nivesh SIP scheme launched by SBI Mutual Fund and State Bank of India,
00:48which has been launched for the first time by the country to strengthen small savers living in rural, semi-urban and urban areas to participate in mutual fund schemes.
01:01The special thing about this is that investors can start with only Rs 250 and can choose the option of weekly or monthly investment daily.
01:10It is said that investing in the right place and saving even a small amount from a great return can be added to a large fund.
01:17And in this regard, Systematic Investment Plan i.e. SIP is becoming very famous.
01:22In the beginning of SBI's SIP scheme, investors can invest in SBI Balanced Advantage Fund,
01:30which is a fund that strategically allots investment between equity and debt by fund managers.
01:37Now let's talk about the calculation under which an investment of Rs 250 can make a fund of more than Rs 17 lakh every month.
01:46SIP is a long-term investment option and according to its history, investors can get a return of 12-16%.
01:54If you run a monthly SIP of Rs 250 for 30 years, you get a return of 15% during this time.
02:00Then the investors will have Rs 17,30,000.
02:04This includes a return of Rs 90,000 and Rs 16,62,455.
02:10Now, if investors increase the duration of this small SIP scheme by 40 years, then they will have a return of more than Rs 78 lakh.
02:20Actually, if an investor makes a regular investment of Rs 250 every month for 40 years and the return remains 15%, then his total will be Rs 1,20,000.
02:30But the return he will get will increase with compounding to Rs 77,30,949 and the total fund will be Rs 78,50,949.
02:41Keep in mind that inflation rate has not been included in these figures, which can possibly reduce the value of the total amount.
