Germany, the Far-Right is up less than 72 hours before the election

In less than 72 hours before Germany's elections, the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party is growing in support, although it is unlikely to be part of the next government. teleSUR

00:00We go now to Germany, as the Union Party, the centre-right force leading the German

00:04election polls, has lost two percentage points in the last few hours.

00:08By contrast, the far-right alternative for Germany has risen slightly, to 21% of the

00:14vote.

00:15Germany is on the edge, less than 72 hours before the early elections.

00:19There is already talk of pacts.

00:22The aim is to strengthen the court and sanitary in order to prevent the advance of the far-right,

00:28which is only seven points behind the centre-right, which currently has about 28% of support.

00:35The Social Democrats, currently in government, have been hit hard by the performance of Chancellor

00:40Olaf Scholz and remain at a modest 16%.

00:44But socialists of the left could cross the 5% threshold, while more than a quarter of

00:49the voters, that is to say 27% of them, remain undecided.
