00:00For three parties, Germany's elections on Sunday are especially suspenseful as they
00:05need at least 5% of the vote to play a role in the German parliament for the next four
00:10years.
00:11Die Linke, who has managed an impressive comeback during the short election campaign, has received
00:16a record 91,000 new membership applications.
00:41For the FDP, who were in the Ampel coalition, the race for the 5% will be very tight.
00:47If they make it, they could become kingmaker and as such get their demands through, even
00:53though they could be the smallest partner in a German government coalition.
01:21BSV, who splintered off from Die Linke last year, received a historic 6.2% of the vote
01:31in last year's European elections and is hoping to repeat their success.
01:36But the existence of the party is riding on these elections.
