00:18said Brian Chia, a former Wang & Partners partner and ex-legal advisor to One MDB, has
00:24been unreachable since January.
00:27Repeated attempts to contact him suggest he is no longer within the court's jurisdiction.
00:32Chia was slated as the 10th defense witness, having previously been listed as a prosecution
00:37witness but never called to testify.
00:40Presiding Judge Justice Colin Lawrence Sequeira asked how the defense would proceed if Chia
00:46remained missing.
00:47Wan Azwan said they would continue with other witnesses, but sought help in locating him.
00:53Deputy Public Prosecutor Kamal Baharin Omar confirmed Chia was an offered witness and
00:58assured the prosecution's assistance in finding him.
01:02With no other witnesses available, the defense requested an adjournment until Friday, which
01:07the court granted.
01:08Najib was ordered to enter his defense on October 30 last year for four counts of abuse
01:14of power and 21 counts of money laundering involving 2.28 billion ringgit from One MDB
01:19funds.
