Alfreider (Provincia Bolzano): “Un trasporto pubblico ecosostenibile è il nostro traguardo”

(Adnkronos) - “Da molti anni puntiamo a un trasporto pubblico a basse emissioni anche per abbattere il traffico”. Così l’assessore alla Mobilità della Provincia autonoma di Bolzano Daniel Alfreider è intervenuto al seminario “ESG nel trasporto pubblico locale-sfide e opportunità” organizzato a Bolzano da Asstra, l’associazione che riunisce le imprese di trasporto pubblico locale in Italia. “Con la Sasa (la principale azienda del trasporto pubblico locale dell’Alto Adige, ndr) abbiamo puntato anche su un carburante a emissioni zero come l’idrogeno”, ha spiegato l’assessore.

00:05As public administrations, to be able to have public companies that manage

00:11public transport in an eco-sustainable way is a very important goal for us.

00:19We are a border region on the Brennero axis, where there is a lot of transport,

00:27but it is also an opportunity to create sustainable and low-emissions public transport.

00:35I remember that Sasa has in its fleet almost 20 hydrogen buses,

00:43as many electric buses, and we are together with Sasa

00:49building the next hydrogen production station.

00:54So, a huge commitment to create social, but above all eco-sustainable, public transport.

01:04We have about 50% of daily pendularism in the big cities, in Bolzano, in Merano,

01:11and we want to reduce this.

01:14How? Public transport will be the answer,

01:19naturally creating a better connection of our trains

01:23and continuing to invest in public transport on rubber,

01:27so Sasa and other dealerships.

01:30This is the main goal that we want to achieve with the plan of sustainable mobility,

01:35so reducing the number of cars and increasing the quality of public transport.
