00:06Lim Kwan Eng heckled Penang Chapter Chief Steven Sim during an event last Saturday, says its

00:12Secretary General, Lok Siu Fook.

00:16Lok said the disciplinary committee would follow due process to investigate the issue

00:20if a complaint was filed against Tan Kong Chong.

00:23But as far as the person involved, he apologised and the person he shouted at has also accepted his apology.

00:33Tan had issued a statement on Monday expressing regret for his actions and the ensuing developments

00:39caused by his heckling.

00:41He reportedly hurled a vulgar insult at Sim while the latter was greeting supporters at

00:45the dinner, calling him a traitor.

00:48He approached Sim and berated him for nearly 10 seconds, also accusing him of attempting

00:53to undermine Lim.

00:55Sim, however, played down the incident as a storm in a teacup despite the subsequent

01:00calls for disciplinary action against Tan.
