00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development, DSWD,

00:04has denied the persons with disability or PWD ID

00:09in the Mike Abilibe program.

00:11The DSWD Assistant Secretary and Spokesperson also said

00:16that with the help of the Unified PWD ID System,

00:19DSWD will be the central authority

00:22in issuing physical and digital ID.

00:25In the past years,

00:27the process of local authorities' ID is done manually

00:32through the PWD Affairs Office that issues the ID.

00:36Meanwhile,

00:37President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. is pleased

00:42with the dedication of the DSWD,

00:44particularly whenever there is a calamity

00:47where the DSWD's action is immediately noticed

00:51to help the affected countrymen.

00:54So, through this initiative,

00:57we will just issue the person with disability ID.

01:02It's RFID-enabled card.

01:05It has a QR code.

01:06It's easy to verify through the system.

01:09So, we can be sure that it won't be copied

01:14and it won't be used temporarily,

01:17our person with disability ID.

01:20And we can be sure that the benefits

01:23and privileges for the person with disability

01:26will be given to them.

01:28This serves as an inspiration

01:30and a motivation for us to continue

01:33doing the best services

01:38to our countrymen in need.
