00:05upside down at Toronto's Pearson Airport.

00:09As we made our descent and made touchdown it was just a very forceful event where all

00:17of a sudden everything just kind of went sideways and then next thing I know is kind of a blink

00:22and I'm upside down still strapped in.

00:25Everyone on that plane suddenly became very close in terms of how to help one another,

00:31how to console one another and that was powerful.

00:35The aircraft came down fast, landing so hard that it lost its right wing, then burst into

00:41flames on the runway.

00:43By some miracle no one was killed while 21 were injured.

00:47It's really important to recognise how grateful we are that there was no loss of life or life

00:53threatening injuries in yesterday's accident.

00:57The airport CEO said that their two longest runways remained closed as investigators examined

01:03the aircraft on site to try to determine what caused the accident.

01:08It's possible wintry weather conditions may have played a part.

01:12After days of record snowfall, the airport was experiencing blowing snow and gusts of

01:1765 kilometres an hour at the time of the crash.

01:21Questions also remain as to why the plane is missing its right wing.
