00:08on bail in an alleged money laundering case, has come as a big relief for the Aam Aadmi

00:13Party. Mr Shishodia was in jail in this case for 17 months. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal

00:20is still behind bars. But Manish Shishodia has now taken over the reins of the party

00:25and hit the ground running with Delhi's assembly elections due in just a few months from now.

00:31These assembly polls are really going to be the biggest test that AAP faces. The party

00:35has been beleaguered by a string of arrests of its top leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal.

00:41But it's also a big test to see how those arrests and what they claim is vendetta by

00:46the BJP has resonated with voters. The fact is that a party that was born out of an anti-corruption

00:53movement today is facing a number of corruption allegations itself. Many of this could be

00:59or much of this could be vendetta politics by the BJP. But there are voters who are asking

01:04whether there is smoke without fire. The second big challenge for the AAP is its own governance

01:09record. If you look, for example, at the infrastructure in Delhi, which is the national capital, it

01:14has completely collapsed, particularly in the rain. And many of the municipal agencies

01:19that are in charge of cleaning out drains in the city come under the Aam Aadmi Party.

01:24So will voters bring the AAP back with the kind of majority or a thumping majority that

01:29it's had in the last two elections? That will be something that will be interesting to see.

01:35Most of all, will the AAP be able to re-energize and find its mojo once again? The next few

01:41months will be crucial for that.
