00:00Can you just explain what your week has been like?

00:02Dude, it's actually, so, everyone's coming out to me like,

00:06oh, I'm exhausted, this week's crazy.

00:08But for some of us,

00:10because there's so many legends here,

00:12and they're really doing a lot,

00:14my week was pretty easy until, like, Friday.

00:18I kind of was, I had to try a few things on,

00:21but I was mostly at home.

00:24And then I came in and did a sketch with

00:27people I never thought I'd get to meet,

00:29and then I got to go to a concert

00:31with my girlfriend that was lovely.

00:33It's been a great week.

00:35Who are those people that you never thought

00:37you would get to meet, that you're in a sketch with?

00:39That just won't come out until after the show?

00:42No.

00:44So if you can't say it, don't say it.

00:46Okay.

00:47It's two of the biggest comedic people ever.

00:51One was a cop in Beverly Hills.

00:55I think we know who that is.

00:58You don't have to spoil anything about the broadcast,

01:00but in the past few days,

01:02have you gotten to sit down with any of these

01:04SNL greats and pick their brain at all?

01:06Yeah.

01:07I try not to be annoying or anything,

01:09but Dana Carvey I've talked to

01:11about economics for hours.

01:14He's the best.

01:16Sandler I've gotten to talk to a little bit.

01:19It's cool.

01:20This week feels like,

01:21when they come around every once in a while,

01:23it's like, oh my gosh.

01:25But once they're around two days,

01:27it's like, oh, we're friends.

01:29And I'm talking to this kind of Kristen Wiig,

01:32like I would a friend.

01:34It's cool.

01:35If you could plop yourself into any other SNL cast,

01:38where would you put yourself?

01:43My era was the hater,

01:46Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig era.

01:49But it would have been cool to be in the Phil Harmon era.

01:52I would have loved to have worked with Phil Harmon.

01:54Who's the Phil hater tonight?

01:57I don't know.

01:59He's like the one guy.

02:00He's playing himself, doing whatever he wants,

02:02as he should, as he's earned.

02:05Is there a piece of advice

02:07or a note from Lorne Michaels

02:09that you have really taken to heart?

02:16Definitely, but let me think.

02:19He said,

02:21well, it was a good way to put it,

02:23none of this is normal,

02:25and you're pretending that it is,

02:28and that's kind of the job.

02:31He also said to get an apartment that I can't afford,

02:34because it'll make me work harder.

02:36That's true.

02:38And you did that?

02:39I did that,

02:40and I'm chasing the money.

02:44But he's the one who writes your paycheck.

02:46Yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:48But I also can get other paychecks

02:50with the opportunities the show's created,

02:52stand-up and stuff.

02:54Get an apartment that you can't afford.

02:56It's scary, it's scary,

02:58but it makes you work more.
