00:00Today are hives which are discovered in Africa and the European, as well I can say typically

01:03moving the frames place to place. So that's why we use the modern hives. So like that they know

01:10each other. In case any bee or any predator come to hive, they can detect if it's enemy or friend

01:18through the hormones.

01:24For us as beekeepers, we're working on these bees as stages because the bees are able to make

01:31minicombs. We call those bees apis millifera. They are able to making different combs. So the

01:37idea of making the frames, it's similar to the comb the bees they make. Of course the queen,

01:42we're gonna observe it mostly she's in the middle of the each box. You can see through that frame

01:50there is some babies of the queen because the queen prefer the middle of the frame to lay eggs.

01:57Why? She prefer the middle because this is important for the bees to warm this area.

02:03About the sides, mostly it's just to conserve the honey. But the middle it's for the queen only

02:09to lay eggs because these eggs need 30 degrees to keep the babies raised faster.

02:18Here is the queen. It's marked with red dot. The mark is international. This is the queen of 23.

02:28Since the queen live one year, five years, we have five colors each year.

02:3323, it's red. When we extract the honey, we need to remove all the wax. We will

02:40uncover all the hexagonal wax. We'll put in the extractor. One by one, we have extractor,
