00:00If you've just joined a company in the UAE and you're wondering when you can take annual
00:06leave to take a break, according to the UAE Labour Law, you are actually entitled to receive
00:11two days of annual leave per month after the first six months of service.
00:17During the first six months of service, which are usually the probation period, you can
00:20still take leave, but it won't be a paid annual leave.
00:24And after one year of service you've completed, you can actually take 30 days of annual leave
00:29per year.
00:30When you're leaving the company, if you haven't completed a whole year of service from the
00:35time that you joined, you're entitled to take a fraction of the annual leave as per the
00:40number of days and months that you've served.
