01:01The attacker, a 24-year-old Afghan asylum seeker, was arrested, but his motive remains unclear.

01:07Authorities have classified the incident as religiously motivated

01:11and are calling for stricter repatriation, deportation and legislative measures.

01:17The attack occurred just hours before international leaders arrived in Munich for the annual security conference.
