Minor phreatic eruption occurs at Taal Volcano -- PHIVOLCS

A time-lapse footage recorded by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) captures a minor phreatic eruption from Taal Volcano on Sunday, Feb. 16. The eruption lasted from 8:20 a.m. to 8:24 a.m. this morning.

Alert Level 1 prevails over Taal Volcano.
