00:00This is The Cube, where just 7 games stand between you and a quarter of a million pounds.
00:09These games are simple, but when played inside The Cube, everything changes.
00:30Have you got what it takes to beat The Cube?
00:54Welcome to The Cube. Tonight, celebrities are going to see whether they've got what it takes to complete 7 simple games to win a quarter of a million pounds.
01:04Let's meet our first contestant, Tom Fletcher from The Pride.
01:13Welcome Tom Fletcher, thank you very much.
01:16So Tom, where have you come from?
01:23We've come from home, North London.
01:26And what do you do for a living, Tom?
01:27I'm in a band. Musician.
01:32And who have you brought with you?
01:34Ponies.
01:36It's McFly.
01:38Hi Tom.
01:40Hi guys.
01:42Danny, Danny and Harry, welcome guys.
01:44How did you decide between you who it was that was going to be here?
01:48I drew the short straw.
01:50We felt that Tom would be really good at it.
01:52Nerves are still and just, just good at it.
01:54I mean, we play these kind of games in our dressing rooms on tour and stuff and Tom's quite good at them, so.
01:58We take a cube on tour.
01:59We take a cube with us on tour, so.
02:01That's really rock and roll.
02:03We've got our own cube.
02:06Right, so what makes you think you've got what it takes to beat The Cube?
02:09I don't.
02:10I really don't.
02:11I really don't.
02:12No, I don't really excel at any of the type of games that go on in here.
02:15I'm just kind of average at them all.
02:16What's your charity?
02:17Because you're playing for charities.
02:18Yeah, there's two charities.
02:19One of them is Burt, which is the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust.
02:23You got that right, Harry?
02:24Yeah.
02:25Harry's girlfriend, Izzy's brother.
02:26Izzy's brother, Rupert, suffered a brain injury when he was 18 in a car accident.
02:31And Burt's the charity that helps him, so.
02:34That's a small charity, yeah, so that could really do with the awareness.
02:37And that's for people with brain injuries.
02:38And the other is Comic Relief.
02:39Right.
02:40Because it's something that we've supported for years.
02:43You know, we've been out to Uganda and we had the official song a few years ago.
02:46Well, whatever happens this evening, you will leave with £1,000 for your charity,
02:50which is what we do for our celebrity specials.
02:52Great, okay.
02:53I'll try and get a bit more.
02:54Take the money and run!
02:55Yeah.
02:56He's got to do something.
02:57You can't just walk out here and get a grand.
03:01Are you ready?
03:02As I'll ever be, yeah.
03:03Good.
03:04All right.
03:05In which case, you have nine lives.
03:06Game one is for £1,000.
03:08Yeah!
03:09Woo!
03:10And this is what's inside the cube.
03:18Stop zone.
03:21John, you must stand in the corner of the cube.
03:24When you press the button, the floor of the cube will begin to turn blue at a consistent rate.
03:29When it reaches the centre, it will become invisible.
03:32However, it will continue to fill at the same pace.
03:35When you think it has reached the mark zone, you must press the button again to stop it.
03:39You must stop it within the lines to succeed.
03:45Well, you've seen this one before.
03:47You know what to do.
03:48Yeah.
03:49Timing and judgement.
03:50That's all it is.
03:51Yeah.
03:52How's your judgement?
03:55Good judgement.
03:56Yes, very.
03:57You picked me to be in the band, so.
04:00You've got nine lives.
04:01At this stage, the cube will give you a simplify.
04:03If you're struggling, you can make a game easier.
04:05Yeah.
04:06But you can only use that once, so you can choose wisely when you're going to use it.
04:08Sure.
04:09This is for £1,000.
04:10If you're ready, best of luck.
04:13Enter the cube.
04:27How does that feel?
04:29A bit weird.
04:30I did.
04:31Yeah.
04:32You've been having nightmares over this, haven't you?
04:35I have, yeah.
04:36I've been here before in my dreams.
04:38Yeah, one time it was catching fire while I was inside it.
04:42And then another time I just walked in and someone threw a grenade in.
04:47That's game three.
04:50It's never caught fire yet.
04:52You'll be all right.
04:54I start when I'm ready, can I?
04:55You go when you're ready.
04:56Best of luck.
04:57Okay.
05:00Eight lives remaining.
05:01A bit short.
05:02A bit short.
05:03Mm-hmm.
05:05Nice and easy.
05:06The cube took a life, so that's what we expected it to do.
05:11This is when you nail it.
05:13You go when you're ready.
05:14Three.
05:15Five.
05:16Eight.
05:17Eight.
05:18Eight.
05:19Eight.
05:20Eight.
05:21Eight.
05:22Eight.
05:23Eight.
05:24Eight.
05:25Eight.
05:26Eight.
05:27Eight.
05:28Eight.
05:29Eight.
05:30Come on, Cube.
05:40Yes! Yes!
05:42Boom!
05:44Yes! Come on!
05:46Woo-hoo!
05:58You were one pixel beyond the red line.
06:02But that's all that matters, because you have...
06:051,000 pounds!
06:07Woo-hoo!
06:09Day two is for 2,000 pounds.
06:11And this is what's inside the key.
06:16Tower.
06:23Using the eight blocks provided, you must construct a tower.
06:27You can only move one at a time.
06:29And, Tom, you have just 12 seconds to complete it.
06:32This is a game of speed and accuracy.
06:37This is a new game for this series.
06:39No, I haven't seen it before.
06:40Nope.
06:41Great. Thanks, Cube.
06:42Cheers.
06:43It's just stacking. Stacking cubes.
06:45Mm-hmm.
06:46For 2,000 pounds.
06:47How hard can that be?
06:48How hard could it be?
06:49We'll find out right after the break.
06:51Don't go away.
06:52CHEERING
06:55CHEERING
06:56You must build a tower of eight cubes in 12 seconds.
07:03You can only move one at a time.
07:05You have eight lives, your Simplify and your trial run remaining.
07:09So, Tom, for 2,000 pounds, how quick are you?
07:15To speed stacking.
07:16That's all it is.
07:17Do you do anything like this that might help you in any way?
07:22We do.
07:23We come up with silly little games to challenge ourselves and our dressing rooms.
07:26Danny recently built a nice cup tower, didn't we?
07:28Yeah, and then he ran into it.
07:30Yeah, Danny.
07:31How high was the cup tower?
07:32It was pretty high, actually.
07:33It was good.
07:34Yeah.
07:35It wasn't in 12 seconds, though.
07:36No.
07:37No, it wasn't.
07:38It took a bit longer.
07:39Against the clock, this, um, you have eight lives.
07:43You have your Simplify, you've got a trial run now, which means that if you are worried
07:46about a game, you can try it out before you do it.
07:48Sure.
07:49Of course, you have to do it again to get your money.
07:50Yep.
07:51Going in?
07:52Yep, let's do it.
07:53Round in for £2,000.
07:57Onto the piece.
08:09Bit more physical, this one.
08:11Are you quite fit?
08:12I'm relatively fit, yeah.
08:14Yeah.
08:15I think I can...
08:16Yeah, you are.
08:17So, you, uh, you need to be quick, you need to be accurate.
08:25Yeah.
08:26Any final words of wisdom?
08:29Uh, feel, don't think.
08:35Awesome, man.
08:36Yeah, well done.
08:38What did I say?
08:40That's why I'm in here and he's out there.
08:42Okay.
08:43When you're ready, the cube will start the game.
08:47I'm ready.
08:48Cube, play the game.
08:57Go, go, go.
08:59That's it.
09:01Three, five, four, three, two, one.
09:08Seven lives remaining.
09:11I was 100% playing the doggy for that.
09:25Were you feeling and not thinking?
09:27I was, yeah.
09:28Or thinking and not feeling?
09:29There's so many to think and not feel.
09:33Very, very easy to do and that's one of the issues of the game.
09:36You're concentrating so much on one side.
09:38Then you, uh, you forget your accuracy on the other side.
09:40Which is why I said speed and accuracy.
09:44Well, you've got to feel for it.
09:45Now you know what you've got to do.
09:46Yeah.
09:47Okay, so this is, this is the one.
09:48It's you against the cube for 2,000 pounds.
09:51So if you're ready, the cube will start the game.
09:55Okay, I'm ready.
09:56Cube, play the game.
10:01Go, go.
10:02That's it.
10:03One.
10:04Two.
10:05Five.
10:06Four.
10:07Three.
10:08Two.
10:09One.
10:10Six lives remaining.
10:11Just that little one on the floor.
10:12You do have to pick up the speed here.
10:27You've got to be faster.
10:29Mm-hmm.
10:30Yeah, I can do it quicker.
10:31Yeah.
10:32I think I was being overly cautious there to try and, you know, make sure I didn't knock
10:35any more over.
10:36Yep.
10:37Balance now.
10:38I'm finding the balance.
10:39You still have your simplify.
10:40It's not a problem.
10:41I can do it.
10:42I know it, dear.
10:43Okay.
10:44Let's try it again.
10:45I can do it.
10:46I know it, dear.
10:47Okay.
10:48Let's try it again.
10:57We all want you to know it this time.
10:59Okay.
11:00When you're ready, you say, and the cube will start the game.
11:04Go, Tom.
11:05Go, Tom.
11:06You can do it.
11:07Right.
11:08I'm ready.
11:09Cube, play the game.
11:16Go, go, go.
11:18That's faster.
11:19Faster.
11:20That's it.
11:21Three.
11:22Four.
11:23Five.
11:24Five.
11:25Four.
11:26Three.
11:27Two.
11:28Quicker.
11:29One.
11:34Shut up.
11:36You have two thousand pounds.
11:37Game three is for 10,000 pounds.
11:40This is what's inside the cube.
11:42Just get.
11:43Now, did you ever imagine that you would get so worked up stacking boxes for them in cubes?
11:51You have £2,000.
11:55Game 3 is for £10,000.
11:58And this is what's inside the cube.
12:05Cascade.
12:061,000 red balls will fall from the suspended container.
12:12One of them will be a larger white ball.
12:15Tom, you must catch this white ball before it hits any surface of the cube.
12:28You can do that.
12:29About 1,000 red balls.
12:31And one white one, which is bigger.
12:33Right.
12:34And you've got to catch it as they're all pouring down on your face.
12:39Brilliant.
12:40This is another new game.
12:41You haven't seen this one either.
12:42No.
12:43It may look a little scary, but it's going to be scary for £10,000.
12:46Yeah.
12:47On average, it takes 2.5 lives.
12:49Yeah, I can catch.
12:51Yeah.
12:52Harry's demonstrating for me there.
12:54I don't know what catching is.
12:56Do your cricket techniques.
12:57You can either go like that or you can do that.
13:00Don't point your fingers at it as well because it bounces off your fingers.
13:03Have a slight angle down.
13:04Okay.
13:05This is all sound advice.
13:06Good advice, yeah.
13:07I like that.
13:08Well, you've got six lives.
13:09You've got your Simplify and you've got your trial run.
13:11So you can now begin to think about these things that you have.
13:14Whether you want to use them, how you use them.
13:16Yeah.
13:17A lot of money now.
13:18Well, £10,000, what would that mean to your charities?
13:21Well, especially for Burt.
13:22I mean, it's a much smaller charity and, you know, something like Comic Relief.
13:25But I know, you know, any money would be amazing for both of them.
13:28So it would go a long way.
13:30But I want to try and win as much as possible.
13:32So what are you going to do?
13:33I'm going to give it a go.
13:34Same?
13:35Yeah, same.
13:36Come into the queue.
13:37Come on!
13:38Have a good look.
14:02Yeah.
14:03God, it's right above me, isn't it?
14:06Well, but you must stay in that box.
14:11So any, any, I can't wait for this.
14:14Any advice from the guys over here?
14:15Don't try and catch the ball.
14:17Relax and the ball will come to you.
14:29Yeah.
14:30Do you know, he's right.
14:31It will come to you.
14:32It will come straight to your head.
14:35No.
14:36I think, maybe, because you're right-handed, obviously, start with a bit of a lean.
14:42Because you don't want it to just hit you in the face, obviously.
14:44No.
14:45Because that would be really disorientating.
14:46Do you think I should lean out a bit?
14:47I think slightly.
14:48I think slightly.
14:49So, all you have to do is to catch that white ball for £10,000.
14:57You tell us when you're ready.
14:58You tell us when you're ready.
14:59The cube will start the game.
15:03Nice and calm.
15:07Okay, I'm ready.
15:08Cube, play the game.
15:10Play the game.
15:11No!
15:12No!
15:13No!
15:14No!
15:15No!
15:16No!
15:17No!
15:18No!
15:19No!
15:20No!
15:21No!
15:22No!
15:23No!
15:24No!
15:25No!
15:26No!
15:27No!
15:28No!
15:29No!
15:30No!
15:31No!
15:32No!
15:33No!
15:34No!
15:35No!
15:36No!
15:37No!
15:38No!
15:39No!
15:40No!
15:41No!
15:42No!
15:43No!
15:44No!
15:45No!
15:46No!
15:47No!
15:48No!
15:49No!
15:50No!
15:51You have £10,000.
16:10You must step over the barriers running across the cube without dislodging them.
16:34You will be blindfolded.
16:36The game is completed when both feet have cleared the final barrier.
16:41Be warned Tom, in darkness your judgement will become severely distorted.
16:48This is one that you have seen before.
16:51Yeah, a few times.
16:53First thoughts when you see it.
16:57I think it's going to be really tricky, I think it's going to be really, really tough.
17:01I'm already thinking perhaps a trial run or something maybe on this one.
17:05It's a lot of money.
17:06It is a lot of money.
17:07Well, you've got a bit of time to think about it.
17:09Decide what you're going to do because we'll be right back after the break.
17:11Don't go away.
17:12Now it's your chance to take some money from the cube.
17:19Tom from McFly is trying to beat the cube.
17:21The band's first song spent 12 weeks in the UK chart.
17:25So, for your chance to win £12,012, watch closely.
17:32What colour is the larger ball that is released?
17:38Was it A, blue, B, green or C, yellow?
17:50To enter, call 09012931333.
17:53Calls cost no more than £1.03 from BT Landlines.
17:56Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more.
18:00Or text A, B or C to 83366.
18:03Texts cost £1 plus one standard network rate message.
18:06You can also enter for free at ITV.com.
18:08Entrance must be 18 or over and lines close on Saturday at 5pm.
18:12Entries made after the closing time won't be counted but may still be charged.
18:15The Cue.
18:16The Cue.
18:17Whilst blindfolded, you must step over the two barriers without dislodging them.
18:30You have six lives, your trial run and your simplify remaining.
18:34So Tom, for £20,000, can you trust your nerves?
18:40It's a bit of a cute favourite, this one.
18:45I think it's going to be really tricky, but £20,000 is a lot of money.
18:53Double your money now.
18:54£10,000 is a lot of money as well.
18:57It's not for me as well, so it's hard.
18:59It's what makes it really tough is the decisions that are tough.
19:02If you were to go in there and it all went horribly wrong, then you'd be back down to £1,000.
19:09Yeah.
19:10It's a big drop.
19:12What do the guys think?
19:15I'm not joking, but I really do think you should do it without your trousers.
19:18I'm being super serious.
19:23Well, it's been done like that before.
19:28He's been saying as well, we've been watching at home on YouTube and he said if you get that one, I reckon trousers off.
19:32It's a bit easier.
19:34It has also been successfully done with trousers.
19:37Right, okay.
19:38That's good.
19:39So, I don't know whether you have any idea of whether or not it could be with or without trousers.
19:47Never has a cube audience shouted off, off, off.
19:54Okay, so serious because it's serious money.
19:58You are in great shape with six lives.
20:00You have your child run.
20:01You have your simplified.
20:02Loads of options.
20:03Mm-hmm.
20:04You think boys don't go for it?
20:07Yeah.
20:08I believe you can do it.
20:09I believe you can do it.
20:10Oh, I'll go for it.
20:11You're in.
20:12Yeah, I'm in.
20:13That's it.
20:14That's it.
20:15I'll do it.
20:16Thank you for the cube.
20:18Woo!
20:20Woo!
20:21Woo!
20:22Woo!
20:23Woo!
20:24Woo!
20:25Woo!
20:26Woo!
20:27Woo!
20:28Woo!
20:29Woo!
20:30Woo!
20:31Woo!
20:32Woo!
20:33Woo!
20:34Woo!
20:35Woo!
20:36Woo!
20:37Woo!
20:38Woo!
20:39Woo!
20:42On average, it takes four lives.
20:45Oh.
20:46You've got six and you have a simplified.
20:49And it's been done in one, okay?
20:52Woo!
20:53That's second one's high.
20:54Really high.
20:55That's for 20,000 pounds.
20:56Going to make it easy for you.
20:57Well, I've got to do it now.
20:58So I'll just think how high that second one is, compared to your waistline.
21:00And just think about that when you're getting over it again.
21:02Okay.
21:03That's enough for 20,000 pounds.
21:05So I'll just go for that.
21:06I'll just go for tch.
21:07and just think about that when you're getting over it yeah how many steps as
21:13well think how many steps you're gonna make I reckon one big step for the first
21:17yeah and then two small ones to make them two average steps and bear in mind
21:23also that every time you do it if you do have to do it again you learn more and
21:28more or every time
21:31don't put it down yet no I seen the show absolutely right once it's down you
21:43can't lift it back up again okay okay I reckon I'm gonna stand sideways onto it
21:48you know I'm gonna go sideways should take your time so Tom for 20,000 pounds
22:00step over those barriers
22:02would we fall over straight away okay here we go
22:11five lives remaining
22:18five lives remaining
22:34lift the mask up so you can see where you are just caught it with with oh I think possibly the heels here was it yeah I thought as well I can step further yeah not nearly far enough definitely
22:45far enough yeah yeah it's gonna be tough
22:52of course it's gonna be tough
22:54right
23:07okay
23:08okay
23:11yeah
23:12yeah
23:26Oh, this is tricky.
23:54Very, very tricky.
24:24Oh, this is tricky.
24:40Yeah!
24:47Whoo-hoo!
24:48Whoo-hoo!
24:57Woo-hoo!
24:58Thank you!
25:04Wow!
25:06Wow!
25:08Wow!
25:10You have £20,000.
25:12That's amazing.
25:14That's amazing.
25:16Game 5!
25:18Is for £50,000.
25:20And this is what's inside the queue.
25:22Side track.
25:38You must guide the pole along the parallel bars without either end making contact.
25:44You will need a steady hand and extreme focus to guide the pole between the ascending and descending bars.
25:50So, for £50,000, how steady are you, Tom?
25:58So, this is your £50,000 game.
26:02Can I say here though, with five lives, a trial run and a simplify, crazy as this might sound, you could beat the queue.
26:12I don't know why I can waste that like that.
26:15You could be the guy that beats the queue, walks away with a quarter of a million pounds.
26:23Or...
26:25You might look at this a different way.
26:27It is a tricky game.
26:29Yeah.
26:30The statistics for this are that, on average, it takes just under four lives.
26:35You've got five lives and you've got your trial run and you've got your simplify.
26:43Mm-hmm.
26:44It has, in the past, wiped someone right out.
26:49Oof.
26:50But...
26:52Also, people have done it in one.
26:54Really, right?
26:55Well, yes.
26:56To be honest, it's not really my strong point.
26:59You don't know until you've done it?
27:00Have you ever done anything like this before?
27:01No, no.
27:02It's just like games like this.
27:04You know, we have to feed the wire or something.
27:06Not terrible at them, but it's not really.
27:09I wouldn't choose it.
27:10Let's see what Harry thinks.
27:12I think you should go for the trial run straight away.
27:15Because I think it's one of those games that if you get it wrong the first time,
27:18you're instantly thinking you had, like, four lives.
27:20I think it'll get harder each time.
27:21Yeah.
27:22So I think it should...
27:23Like, it'd be good to go and see how heavy the bar is.
27:26Yeah, trial run it.
27:27And if it's really hard on the trial run, you can consider the simplify.
27:31Yeah, I'll give it a trial run.
27:36Right.
27:37Decision made.
27:38For your trial run, enter the queue.
27:55You even walked in there differently this time.
27:58Really?
27:59Yeah.
28:00Yeah.
28:01You had a bit of a head down approach on this one.
28:04You don't like this, do you?
28:06It's the first one where I've seriously thought, maybe I can't do it.
28:12You will be in far, far better shape if you get your head into a positive place.
28:16Mm-hmm.
28:17So think...
28:18It's a trial run.
28:19So nothing...
28:20Yeah, this doesn't matter.
28:21This is just trying.
28:22Absolutely.
28:23It just shows you whether or not you think you can do it.
28:25Right.
28:26Let's give it a go.
28:27Go when you're ready.
28:28You're in play.
28:29Oh.
28:30Go when you're ready.
28:32You're in play.
28:34Get off my way down.
28:35You're ready too to hit the grind.
28:37You're ready.
28:50Your Rape.
28:51Okay.
28:52Oh, that was close.
29:06You started to go a bit quickly there, didn't you?
29:24Yeah, I think I got a bit cocky at the end.
29:26You got a bit confident.
29:29Oh, it's a really tough decision.
29:31This is where it gets really tough.
29:34This is the worst bit.
29:35This is the worst bit.
29:36And I'm really indecisive.
29:38To be honest, it was easier than I thought it was going to be, which is why I sped up
29:43at the end, because I thought it's a bit easier.
29:47But, I mean, it's 20 grand for 10 grand each for those two charities.
29:54That's a lot of money.
29:58If you play it, you'll be playing for 50,000 pounds or 1,000 pounds.
30:05What you could do is you could simplify it now.
30:10Straight away.
30:11Straight away, and then, fingers crossed, 50 grand.
30:14And then, look at the next one.
30:16Or, you try and get it on this first one, then you've got to simplify and five lives for the 100 grand.
30:21But it's not my money I'm gambling with, is it?
30:25It's for the charities.
30:26Oh, it's so hard!
30:28But, I think, I don't think, I'm pretty sure I can do it.
30:37But it's just whether I should, oh, it's really tough.
30:41What do you think?
30:42Seriously, do you think I should go for it and not simplify?
30:44I think go for it and not simplify, and then if you get it...
30:46And if I get this one wrong...
30:47Then simplify.
30:48I'm going to do it.
30:49Yeah.
30:50I'm going to go for it.
30:51You're going for it.
30:52There is no way that anyone who has ever won any big money in the cube hasn't had to be brave.
31:05It's amazing how it changes when you're really doing it instead of the trial run.
31:18Here we go.
31:35Here we go.
32:05Here we go.
32:35Here we go.

34:12Alles.
34:13Shatter.
34:17You must throw the ball so that it passes through the diamond and shatters the glass.
34:23It's a simple throwing game, but under pressure, it is more difficult to get a direct hit.
34:28For £100,000, Tom, how's your aim?
34:36You've seen this one as well.
34:38I have, yeah.
34:41Is this one your game?
34:42I don't know, I don't want to say any more.
34:47Well, the boys have played darts for me a few times, and I'm not the best darts player in the world, am I?
34:52Not bad.
34:53You have five lives and a simplified to play.
34:56Oh, man, it's so hard.
34:57It's so hard.
34:58This is a lot of money.
34:59Have a think.
35:00We'll come straight back after the break.
35:01Here's another chance to take some money from The Cube.
35:10To win £12,012, watch closely.
35:17What colour is the larger ball that is released?
35:20Was it A, blue, B, green, or C, yellow?
35:34To enter, call 09012931333.
35:39Calls cost no more than £1.03 from BT Landlines.
35:42Calls from other networks may be higher, and from mobiles will be considerably more.
35:46Or text A, B, or C to 83366.
35:49Texts cost £1 plus one standard network rate message.
35:52You can also enter for free at itp.com.
35:54Entrants must be 18 or over, and lines close on Saturday at 5pm.
35:58Entries made after the closing time won't be counted, but may still be charged.
36:01The Cube, The Cube.
36:09You must throw the ball so that it passes through the diamond and shatters the glass.
36:15You have five lives and your Simplify remaining.
36:19So Tom, for £100,000, do you want to play?
36:24You've got five lives and a Simplify at the £100,000 game.
36:37Did you ever imagine you'd be in this position?
36:39No.
36:40I thought I would have walked earlier, but I can't, yeah.
36:43If you were watching this on the telly now, what would you be shouting?
36:47I'd be, to be honest, I'd probably be saying to leave with the money.
36:52It's what I'd be saying to someone on TV.
36:54I know, I always say that, though.
36:56I'm always the one at home who's saying, take the money, just don't, it's a massive amount
37:01of money.
37:02£50,000, but then £100 is as well.
37:06You've got a band here.
37:07I don't know, you, I mean, I'm awful at making decisions, so I need to know what you guys
37:10think.
37:11And if I do it, it's all or nothing.
37:13I just go without anything.
37:15All right, I believe that you can do it, but to be safe, I would simplify it.
37:24Naren?
37:24Well, if you're going to do it, definitely simplify it straight away.
37:27Right, but then, Doug, you're sorry.
37:29I think you should just go for it.
37:34Um, seriously, Daren?
37:35You've got five lines, man.
37:37And a simplify.
37:38You casually suck.
37:41I'm enjoying it.
37:42I'm not ready to go home yet.
37:45Oh, but it's your choice.
37:48Oh, it's such a tough, tough decision.
37:51I mean, £50,000 is a real, that's a serious chunk of money.
37:55You have to think now about what it would feel like to win £100,000 for your charities.
38:05£50,000 a piece.
38:08But you have to think what it will feel like to lose £50,000.
38:15would be down to the £1,000.
38:19Here's your statistic.
38:21It takes just over four lives, on average.
38:24Oh, man.
38:26But you have a simplify, and we've seen it done in one.
38:31Come on, Doug!
38:32Come on, Doug!
38:32Come on, Doug!
38:32Come on, Doug!
38:32Come on!
38:33Come on!
38:34Come on!
38:35Come on!
38:35Boys, what do I do?
38:37What do I do?
38:37Do it!
38:38Do it!
38:39Do it!
38:40Do it!
38:41Yeah?
38:41Simplify and do it.
38:42Simplify and do it.
38:42Simplify and do it.
38:43OK, here we go.
38:44Head up.
38:45Oh, yes!
38:45Yes!
38:46Yes!
38:46Yes!
38:47Yes!
38:48Yes!
38:49Yes!
38:50For £100,000 into the field!
38:53Come on!
38:54Come on, Hugh!
38:55Come on, Hugh!
38:56Come on, Hugh!
38:58Come on, Hugh!
38:59Come on, Hugh!
39:00Simplify, what's a simplify?
39:01What's a simplify?
39:02I'm going to simplify straight away.
39:04Yeah.
39:04Yeah?
39:05Yeah.
39:05I want to simplify.
39:06Hugh, please simplify the game.
39:08The size of the target has been increased.
39:12Bigger holes.
39:14Each one of those balls by the side of you represents one of your remaining lives.
39:23Pick one of those balls up.
39:25Get a feel for it.
39:26How does that feel?
39:27Feels good.
39:28Weighty enough?
39:29Yeah, I like it.
39:30For £100,000.
39:44Throw the ball and smash the glass for £100,000.
39:54For £100,000.
39:55For £100,000.
39:56For £100,000.

39:58For £100,000.
39:59For £100,000.
40:00For £100,000.
40:01For £100,000.
40:04Four nines remaining.
40:29Don't worry.
