00:02but at the beginning of the movie, we learn that Mark Darcy,

00:05Colin Firth's character, has passed away.

00:08I know. How do you react when you read that?

00:11You know, I was really surprised at how emotional it was

00:14to be on the set that day.

00:16I mean, I read the book, I read the script,

00:18we did the table reading, I knew I didn't know

00:19what was gonna happen, but when Colin was standing there

00:22in all his Mark Darcy finery with his Mark Darcy

00:25little briefcase, I started welling up,

00:28and I thought, my God, I'm a crazy person.

00:30Yeah, you're like, he's just a character.

00:33This is just a character in the movie.

00:35Yeah, we all loved him, though.

00:36I love Mark Darcy, and I love Bridget and Mark,

00:38and I love working with Colin,

00:40and working with somebody for 25 years, you know?

00:43I know. It's a thing.

00:44And Hugh Grant. Yes!

00:46Hugh Grant returns. Yes!

00:48And what's it like being back together with Hugh?

00:50Oh, he's the best. He really is.
