Im Boxer-Drama Day of the Fight stand ein früher gefeierter und bekannter Boxer eine ganze Weile nicht im Ring. Der Grund dafür: Er musste einige Zeit im Gefängnis verbringen. Als er entlassen wird, will er zum Boxen zurückkehren und bereitet sich körperlich, aber auch mental auf seinen ersten Kampf in Freiheit vor.
