00:00The DTI-Catanduanes Loan Application Fair was held for businessmen affected by the typhoons in the Philippines.

00:07Its aim is to help them recover.

00:11I'm Juris Dela Rosa reporting for Banitang Pambansang.

00:18After being suspended several times, the DTI-Catanduanes Loan Application Fair was held again.

00:24Under the Enterprise Rehabilitation Financing Program,

00:28the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises that were affected by the Typhoon Pepito

00:35will be able to start again under the direction of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

00:39Under the ERF, small businessmen will be able to borrow money from the Small Business Corporation,

00:45an attached agency of the Department of Trade and Industry, and the agency's financing arm.

00:50This particular Enterprise Rehabilitation Financing,

00:55we know that the Typhoon Pepito is a hard hit.

01:02So this is the Pepito ERF, a loan window for those affected by the Typhoon Pepito.

01:09And for more businessmen to be able to help, the requirements for the loan were made simple.

01:15They will be able to borrow up to Php 30,000 to Php 300,000 depending on their assessment in the business.

01:24Aside from this, the payment was also made easy because the grace period is 6 months and the interest is only 1% per month.

01:32This is a big opportunity for our micro and small enterprises that were really affected by the typhoon last year, 2024.

01:43I hope it won't happen again this year. This is a big help.

01:47DTI Katanduanes encouraged more businessmen to take advantage of this opportunity to recover from the effects of the typhoon.
