00:14A stronger surveillance against disinformation or fake news

00:18to ensure a clean and integrated 2025 elections.

00:23This is one of the priorities of the Philippine National Police as a preparation for the elections.

00:29According to the PNP, they see a strong influence of false and manipulated information,

00:35particularly on social media,

00:37that distorts the voters in their choice of the leaders to be elected.

00:42We will run after the three Gs and one F.

00:48Lies, good and good, plus fake news.

00:54The PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group will help the police on social media sites

01:01to immediately investigate and act on the so-called sources of false information.

01:06In an interview, PNP Chief General Romel Francisco Marviel said

01:11that they are doing everything to ensure the integrity of the elections.

01:15The police will also help other government agencies,

01:19including the Comelec and AFP for this.

01:23The PNP wants the 2025 elections to be the safest and most peaceful elections in history.

01:30That's why it has a big role to help other sectors,
