00:00The Los Angeles Lakers are now looking for a big man to add to their roster for the upcoming 2024-2025 NBA season.

00:10The Lakers announced on Wednesday that Alex Lenn, a 7-foot veteran center, will be joining their lineup.

00:18Lenn recently played for the Sacramento Kings, who will be sent to the Washington Wizards before the trade deadline.

00:26Lenn was immediately named by the Wizards to become an unrestricted free agent and sign a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.

00:35To provide a roster spot for Lenn, the Lakers appointed Christian Wood.

00:42Lenn's acquisition became the backbone of the L.A. after an unsuccessful trade for Charlotte Hornets center Mark Williams

00:51replacing Dalton Kanek, Cam Reddish, and a 2031 first round draft pick.
