Etihad says it is still working with Jet's management to restructure, and Saudi Arabia will host the G20 summit next year for the first time.

00:00Abu Dhabi's Etihad Airways confirmed it is still standing by Jet Airways even after the

00:06Indian carrier suspended operations.

00:08A spokesperson for Etihad, which owns a 24 percent stake in Jet, said that the carrier

00:13is working with affected passengers to re-accommodate them in the system.

00:17Etihad also said it is still working with Jet's management, lenders and key stakeholders

00:21to restructure the company.

00:23On Wednesday, Jet Airways said that it will be suspending all domestic and international

00:26flights after it failed to secure emergency funding.

00:29In other news, Saudi Arabia will be hosting the G20 summit next year, bringing the event

00:34to the Arab region for the very first time.

00:36The event will be held in Riyadh on November 21 and 22, according to reports by news agency

00:41SPA.

00:42The G20 is a major annual event, bringing together representatives from 19 member countries

00:47as well as the European Union.

00:48In Riyadh, the summit will seek to address issues relating to the Middle East and North

00:52Africa, and these include environmental, social, financial and economic issues.
