00:00I'm here in Fulham about to try out the new fad in London, the Yogos, and it's raining
00:25so let's see if they're really a great alternative to biking.
00:29Here we go.
00:30Yogos creators hope these pay-as-you-go cards replace short car journeys and provide Londoners
00:35with a safe, clean and sustainable way to get around the capital.
00:39At 20p per minute to operate, and even cheaper for subscribers, they are also said to be
00:45more affordable than other forms of transport.
00:48To access one, simply download the Yogos app, register your billing information and DVLA
00:54license check code.
00:56The Yogos will confirm your account within 24 hours.
00:59After that, simply find one and hit unlock.
01:02So I finally found the Yogo which is supposed to be a great alternative to biking, except
01:07when it's raining it doesn't look like it really is.
01:10Check it out.
01:11Watered seats, rain everywhere.
01:19Anyway let's check it out.
01:30Right here we are in Fulham, riding in the Yogo, it is pretty breezy, it's not so easy
01:37to start, the automatic brake is quite frustrating as soon as you let go of the ignition you
01:43pretty much freeze.
01:48Riding over, I am frozen, it was an awesome experience, definitely worth getting on one
01:54and very useful to get around the borough, perhaps not for longer trips.
01:59The vehicle definitely needs to also be on the other side because as soon as the wind
02:02blows you do freeze, but other than that it was good fun.
