00:00What about your heart? If it were not easy, what's your dream justify life on the big screen?
00:05I just feel like, you know, when we study history, we read about these heroes of ours
00:13and we have so many heroes in our country that should be fully celebrated.
00:18When we read about them, we don't know their emotions behind it.
00:23And luckily, we are in a field where we can put emotions to these characters
00:29and make them feel very reachable.
00:33You see them on a 70mm screen and you're like, okay, those are our people.
00:38We are who we are today as a country, also because of things like Samrajit Banerjee.
00:45So I feel like this is exactly why period drama excites me.
00:52Because when you have stories like this and when you have taken stories
00:57of the characters that have existed, it's amazing.
01:02It's magical almost.
01:04So today I'm really proud that I've gotten to play a character like Aeswai, Maharani,
01:10because I never thought I would ever get this opportunity to play a Maharani
01:16or be a part of a period drama itself.
01:19But today that I am, I'm very happy.
01:22So what about you?
01:23Do you think that giving too much to a character can take a toll in an actor's life?
01:27Mentally and physically?
01:30I think it depends on the character that you do.
01:33And of course, a bit of every character remains within you.
01:39And when you do multiple characters at the same time,
01:44you have to be working with best of the best teams
01:49to make sure that even if you go off track in terms of the character,
01:54they bring you back.
01:56And I feel like I've been really blessed to be working with people that I have been.
02:02Because I just felt like it was sorted.
02:07It was taken care of.
02:09And I didn't have to stress out on,
02:12Oh my God, okay, these people don't know what they're doing.
02:15So, you know, I have to take up the responsibility.
02:17No, it was all very well taken care of.
02:21And we were like, I was really blessed by it.
02:25Yeah, I'm really honoured.
02:27Also, Rashmila, it's only wrong to call you the number one actress, right?
02:30Not at all.
02:31Oh my God.
02:32I mean, your trajectory is amazing.
02:34And the filmography, the films you've done is amazing.
02:37So when you pick up films,
02:39do you think about the kind of value you're going to add to a film
02:42or the value the film would add to you?
02:45I think if you start thinking that way, you know,
02:48then life just becomes too hard.
02:51I don't take my life too seriously.
02:55I just feel like there's one divine power guiding me, right?
02:59And I honestly just go with the flow.
03:02But when I get films where I want to be a part of that storytelling,
03:08no matter what the character is,
03:10no matter if I'm a mother of two kids or a mother of four kids
03:14or I'm a grandmother or anything,
03:16it does not matter to me.
03:18I just want to be a part of that storytelling.
03:20And that's, I'm sure, something you've seen in a lot of films.
03:23I am not...
03:25If the story excites me,
03:27no matter what it is that I'm doing in the film,
03:30I will do it.
03:32So it's not like a strategic thing that I do,
03:35but luckily I've been really blessed to be a part of these stories
03:39and the audience are loving the stories that we're saying.
03:43And that makes me the happiest
03:45because it's for them that we work so hard.
03:47And when they love your work,
03:49that means you're doing something right.
03:51And of course, it's not in our control
03:53that one film works or no,
03:55but what we can just say
03:57is that we promise you to give a mind-blowing film.
04:01And then, we have a few viewers.
04:0314th Feb,
04:05and then, like he said,
04:07how I was releasing,
04:09and I'm just going to hope
04:11that you all have the time
04:13from your busy schedules
04:15to come and watch our film and support.
04:17And we should make our little efforts
04:20to provide viewers a mind-blowing film.
04:24Sorry.
