00:00Saif was a natural choice. Saif of course was not a difficult one. I mean, you know,
00:09he's a star. He was a natural choice because I really like him, his kind of self-deprecating
00:15style and I like the charm that he exudes all the time. I thought that was something
00:20that I could kind of harness into a fallibility, into a kind of emptiness and I thought that
00:27would be nice because you still want the guy to be charming even though he's empty, you
00:31know, he's still got to be able to, you know, have that and that was why Saif really.
00:37I think it's a nice time to be making films. It's quite well suited to my sensibility,
00:43the style of filmmaking, the style of acting that seems to be prevalent. You know, I'm
00:48enjoying it, I'm understanding my work better, I think I'm doing it better. So, of course
00:55it's also a question of choosing the right subject and I think it's a director's medium.
01:02So, I'm kind of following a maximum of just working with interesting guys on interesting
01:08stories but I'm happy with all the directors I'm working with this year and I'm loving
01:17the creative atmosphere on set with them. I just hope it would be nice if it resonates
01:23at the box office also.
