00:08Dubai's economy is expected to continue expanding over the next two years, according to the
00:14Chairman of Dubai's Economic Development Committee. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said the
00:19emirate had outperformed global economic growth and defied downward trends that prevailed
00:25worldwide in 2016. The oil sector now makes up for less than 1% of Dubai's GDP, while
00:32trade accounted for 28% of it in 2016.
00:36A Taliban bombing early this morning killed dozens of people in Kabul. The Afghan Interior
00:42Ministry said the bombing killed at least 24 people and wounded 42, and the toll was
