00:09top stories at this hour. Residents in Dubai's Jumeirah village are

00:13still recovering from the shocking death of an Indian woman and her 7-month-old son yesterday.

00:18Bloodstains could still be seen on the pavement in front of the building from where the victims

00:22plunged to their deaths. Brigadier Omar Al-Shamsi, chief of Dubai Police's Command and Control

00:27Center, told Gulf News that the incident happened at Manhattan Tower yesterday morning.

00:32Dubai realty's upturn has reflected in Cityscape numbers. The promoters expect the turnout of more

00:37than 25,000 visitors for the three-day event, which has already seen a 50% growth in exhibitors.

00:43Cityscape Global 2013 has seen the launch of 15 projects worth an estimated 20 billion dirhams,

00:50including Lakhil's relaunched Dira project. Three female members of Saudi Arabia's Shura

00:55Council filed a recommendation that a ban on women driving in the kingdom be lifted.

01:01The move comes ahead of an October 26 initiative by Saudi activists to defy a long-standing driving

01:06ban on women in Saudi Arabia. The recommendation urged the kingdom's top consultative body to

01:12recognize the rights of women to drive a car in accordance with the principles of Sharia

01:17and traffic rules. Senior US officials have said the Libyan government tacitly approved

01:23the US commando operation in which Libyan citizen Abu Anas al-Libi was captured,

01:28according to the New York Times. The operation has been widely denounced by Libyan officials,

01:33who denied playing a role in it. A fire has killed 10 people at a garment factory in Bangladesh,

01:39about six months after a factory building collapse killed 1,100 people. Firefighters

01:44battled through the night to douse the flames at the factory in Shripu on the outskirts of

01:49the capital Dhaka. Hit British boy band The Wanted are the latest name to be added to the

01:53Dubai Jazz Festival. They'll play on Valentine's Day 2014, with already announced Olly Murs.

02:00Meanwhile, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner has confirmed she and her husband,

02:04former Olympian Bruce Jenner, have separated. It was the second marriage for both of them.
