00:14the annual correspondents' dinner one day after a row erupted over White House press

00:20By skipping the April 29th event, Trump breaks a tradition in which the U.S. president is
00:25the guest of honor at a light-hearted roast held by journalists and studded with celebrities.
00:31Trump's cancellation comes one day after the White House triggered widespread outrage
00:36by denying access to an off-camera briefing to several major U.S. media outlets, including
00:42CNN and The New York Times.
00:44Malaysia welcomed Saudi Arabia's King Salman for the start of a rare, month-long Asian
00:49tour, where the monarch will build ties and seek to draw more investments to the country.
00:54The visit is the first by a Saudi king to Malaysia in more than a decade, as the Arab
00:58nation courts Asian investors for the sale of a 5 percent stake in state firm Aramco
01:03in 2018, expected to be the world's biggest IPO.
