00:11serves iftar meals to approximately 100 people who are in need, every day during Ramadan.
00:17The meals served by the mosque include labana, water, juice and biryani with dates and apples.
00:38And according to the organizers, no food goes to waste.
00:54For Imam Khalid Amer, Ramadan is not just about fasting and charity. It's also an opportunity
01:00to enrich oneself through community outreach.
01:11Al Baraha Mosque has been providing free iftar meals to the community for the past five years
01:16and will continue to do so, driven by the belief that best charity is that which is
01:21given during Ramadan.
