00:10Naomi, the President's henchmen's Rice-for-All Program price is being lowered by 2 to 3 pesos starting today.

00:21This is in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:25to make basic necessities and prime commodities for food security affordable for the masses.

00:31For the new price of Rice-for-All,

00:33the NFA or RFA-5 or 5% broken rice will be available for P43 from the previous P45 per kilo.

00:42RFA-25 or 25% broken rice will be available for P35 per kilo from the previous P38.

00:51While RFA-100 or 100% broken rice will be available for P33 per kilo.

00:59The price will be lowered in accordance with the peak of rice and the price of rice in the world market is in a downtrend.

01:05In addition, the Department of Agriculture and Department of Trade and Industry is closely monitoring

01:10the correct price of basic necessities and prime commodities.

01:13That is why the D.A. and D.T.I. will continue to visit the public markets and groceries.

01:19Later, the two agencies will visit the commonwealth market together with several government agencies, CDLGU and PNP.

01:30According to the inspections, the prices of rice, vegetables, fruits, meat and basic necessities and prime commodities will be checked later.
