00:12A senior US Treasury official has directly accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of

00:18corruption in a BBC program. The US government imposed sanctions against a number of Kremlin

00:24insiders in 2014 after Russia's annexation of Crimea in Ukraine, but did not accuse Putin

00:31of direct involvement in corruption. However, during a panorama investigation into Putin's

00:36secret riches, Adam Zubin, the acting Under-Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence at

00:42the US Treasury, said Putin was a picture of corruption.

00:47Malaysia's Attorney General said that nearly $700 million channelled into Prime Minister

00:53Najib Razak's private accounts was a personal donation from Saudi Arabia's royal family

00:59and cleared him of any criminal wrongdoing. The announcement capped months of uncertainty
