00:12French President François Hollande made common cause with India on the issue of fighting

00:16terrorism underlining that the purpose of his visit was to reinforce and strengthen

00:21the cooperation between the two countries to tackle the menace.

00:25Hollande, who is on a three-day visit to India, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for playing

00:30an important role in Paris' COP21 and said that the two countries are going to follow

00:35up on all decisions on the climate change front as well as areas of economic cooperation.

00:42Egyptian authorities have beefed up security across the country on the fifth anniversary

01:28scandal engulfing global track and field. Senior management at Adidas have also voiced

01:34their concerns at the corruption scandal surrounding FIFA, although the company remains a commercial

01:39partner of world football's governing body.

01:43Malayalam actress Kalpana, 51, died on Monday reportedly due to a cardiac arrest in Hyderabad.

01:49The actress, who was known for her comic timing as well as character roles, was in

01:53the city to attend an awards function. According to reports, she was found unconscious in a

01:58hotel room by a hotel staff on Monday morning and died before she reached the hospital.

02:04And finally, the weather. Today's high across the UAE will be 29 degrees Celsius dropping
