00:10at this hour. Rescuers today pulled a teenage boy out alive from under the wreckage of a

00:15guest house in Nepal, five days after it collapsed in a massive earthquake. Police said the survivor

00:21was a 15-year-old Nepalese who had been staying at the guest house on the outskirts of Kathmandu

00:26when the 7.8 magnitude quake struck. The death toll in Nepal from a massive weekend earthquake

00:32has risen to nearly 5,500, according to a tally by disaster management officials. Thousands

00:39of people hit the streets last night in Baltimore and several other U.S. cities, from Boston

00:43and New York to Indianapolis and Washington, D.C., to protest the death of a black man.

00:47Freddie Gray died of spinal injuries after his arrest by Baltimore police, and the protesters

00:52demanded reforms to police procedures. While the protests were mostly peaceful, there were

00:57some arrests, including 16 in Baltimore and at least 60 in New York.

01:02Sharjah aims to attract up to 10 million tourists by 2021 and expand tourism's contribution

01:08to the emirate's economy. The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority has said

01:12that to cater to the anticipated increase in demand, the emirate wants to boost hotel

01:17room numbers from the current 10,000 to 15,000 by 2021.

01:23Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao appeared more focused on conserving energy than stirring

01:28the pot for their upcoming mega-fight as the two boxers eased their way through a media

01:32conference last night. Asked about taunting his opponent, the undefeated Mayweather told

01:37reporters that the fight would sell itself.

01:40Robert Downey Jr. intended to be complimentary with a statement about Mexican-born director

01:45Alejandro Iruritu that some have interpreted as racist, the actor's publicist said. Iruritu,

01:51while promoting Birdman in October, likened superhero movies to a cultural genocide. Downey

01:56Jr. said in a video interview last week that for a man whose native tongue is Spanish,

02:01to be able to put together a phrase like cultural genocide just speaks about how bright he is.

02:06Various Twitter users accused Downey Jr. of being racist in his remarks.

02:11And finally, the weather. Today's high across the UAE will be 34 degrees Celsius, dropping

02:15to 23 degrees at night.
