00:09stories at this hour. Heavy rains and hailstorms lashed Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah this morning

00:14with thunderstorms forecast across the UAE. Schools across the UAE shut early, public

00:19displays for the Dubai Airshow were cancelled and the Global Village was shut as a precaution.

00:24Police have warned motorists to be extremely cautious on the roads. The weather system

00:28made its entry into the UAE's western coastal and inland areas on Wednesday night as heavy

00:33rain and hailstorms hit. Trees and electric poles were uprooted in some areas. In Saudi

00:37Arabia, the death toll from heavy rains in Riyadh has risen to seven. There are concerns

00:41it could go up further as rescue operations are still underway to locate five missing

00:45people. Negotiations between world powers and Iran on the future of Tehran's nuclear

00:50program are entering a second day. It follows a positive first meeting between chief negotiators
