00:00Women get married, they have babies, so it's a lot harder for a woman, especially a professional,
00:21a pro athlete, to continue her career and be really successful because she does take
00:26time out, you know, life happens.
00:29I do agree, especially in polo, I find women, you know, they really ride well, they really
00:37concentrate on the riding, they're really good riders, and the technique, the strength
00:41that comes, I think it's a growing sport, you'll see more women in it, but like everything,
00:46it will take time, but for sure I can see more girls involved in the polo than the boys,
00:54you know, girls love ponies.
00:57Mainly now it's sports, and it takes most of my time, because it takes a lot of dedication
01:04and long hours, but I do, I mean, you know, with the Dubai Cares, there's a lot of family
01:08time and, you know, as a family we have a lot of activities together, but just that.
01:17Well, honestly, I mean, it's just basically rehabbing all the injuries and just trying
01:24to keep up with this lifestyle, you know, I'm still adamant that I have a gold medal
01:28in me, so I'm trying to achieve that, whatever that is, you know, that keeps me going.
01:37I miss the martial arts, I do miss it and I wish I could, you know, get back, I don't
01:43think it's a smart thing to do, I think just leave it on a good note, but yeah, definitely
01:48I do miss it.
01:55I think so, I mean, once I commit, I do commit and I don't quit and I just try and see it
02:01out, I like working hard, I like earning, you know, the little credits that I get here
02:07and there, so, and I also, I'm surrounded by people who are really high achievers, they're
02:12very competitive, by nature I'm quite lazy, so when I have that group of people around
02:17me, it kind of spurs me on.
02:19Most of my time is here unless I'm travelling and it's usually for, it's something to do
02:23with work, so it's usually, you know, the charity or the sports.
02:33What I like about Dubai Cares especially, it's very transparent, you know, where the
02:38funds are going, it's creating an environment for kids to, you know, be educated, so it's
02:47food, water, shelter, you know, so I like that, how it's a complete, it's not just helping
02:55one area, but giving them a base to build from, you know, we visited a few countries
03:01and, you know, Dubai Cares, from start, from the initial concept of this charity to date,
03:08they've just done so much and I'm really proud to be part of that.
03:17First of all, I want to represent my family properly, my country, you know, the title
03:21and all this and, you know, if I can inspire someone and motivate someone, I think that's
03:28basically the kind of role I like to take, like the role of big sister, you know, just
03:32encouraging and nurturing, that's been basically how my attitude towards, you know, the youth
03:40and trying to be there, you know, for them if they needed anything, you know.
03:47Incredible, you're part of this country and then everyone is like, we want to be number
03:51one, we want the biggest, the best and it's, that's the sort of culture you're part of,
03:57you know, so you're trying to always keep up with that sort of standard, it keeps you
04:03on your toes and you meet everyone, I mean, I don't know of any other country with this
04:08many nationalities and like getting along and, you know, you can learn so much, so many
04:13different cultures and it's all here in this small city.
04:20If Dubai teaches you anything, anything is possible if you can dream it, you can probably
04:25do it, especially in this country.
04:28Yeah, just give it a go.
