00:00The digital world offers great opportunities, but it also hides risks and dangers, like
00:09cyberbullying. For this reason, it is essential to teach young people how to use digital devices
00:15safely, accompanying them step by step. For this purpose, on the occasion of Safer Internet
00:21Day 2025, the MOIGE, Italian parents' movement, renews its commitment to schools, where it
00:27organizes training activities aimed at students, teachers and parents, involving young ambassadors
00:34and the MOIGE mobile anti-bullying center.
00:37It is essential that every year, at least on this occasion, we remember, thanks to Safer
00:41Internet Day, that there is a very important and very current problem that concerns our
00:46children, the security in the digital world. It is a huge challenge for us parents because
00:52technology is very fast and we struggle to spend time with our children and therefore
00:57to support them. Therefore, the appeal of parents is not to be discouraged in the face of technological
01:03difficulties, but to always update themselves, to try to know how to best use this means
01:09and always support our children, never leave them alone.
01:12To illustrate the project in concrete terms, the school management of one of the institutes
01:17involved in the project launched by MOIGE.
01:20The heart of this project is the training of some children who are chosen in the third
01:25grades of our primary school, chosen for particular sensitivity and empathic abilities.
01:32What are the actions that we put on the field?
01:34In the first part of the training, these children are trained in the MOIGE e-learning platform,
01:40they are trained and then, here is the particularity of the project, in turn they become trainees
01:46through the peer education modality of their peers, of their classmates.
01:51Particularly attentive to the issue of youth discomfort, where bullism and cyberbullism stand out,
01:57the Municipal Administration of Cisterna di Latina, in addition to supporting the projects
02:01to which the school institutes of the territory adhere, has signed a protocol with the Lazio region.
02:06We really wanted to sign a protocol with the Lazio region, with the Child Welfare Guarantee
02:11and with a center that deals with minor criminal mediation on victims of crime,
02:18therefore also victims of bullism.
02:21We will have a pool, now we have just signed a protocol, financed by the Lazio region,
02:27we will open a door where there will be a pool of lawyers, psychologists, psychotherapists,
02:32specialized in the phenomenon of child discomfort, where we expect families and even the children
02:38themselves to make use of it, in short, to address it.
