00:00It's a tribute, you know, giving up the jury for a particular prize, because you get to

00:23see firsthand how diverse the voices are of the artists and film artists who are working

00:29in the region, and there were four really sophisticated, interesting, individual submissions

00:35made, and it was a really good choice to have to make, so I'm excited, because it's a first

00:39step for those filmmakers.

00:40Well, I've had people, you know, in various times of my career, me, you know, tell emerging

00:46filmmakers in the region.

00:47I was really excited to do that.

00:48For a lot of these filmmakers, the prize money for tonight will be among the components that

00:54will go to various bodies or five individuals, and then make up the rest of the prize.
