00:07starting from Monday.

00:09The arrival of Erdogan and his wife, Emine, was personally received by Prime Minister

00:13Datuk Sri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife, Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Aziza Wan Ismail, at about 2

00:21p.m.

00:22Erdogan inspected a guard of honor from the 1st Battalion of the Royal Ranger Regiment.

00:27He then proceeded to the Putrajaya International Convention Center for a ceremony where he

00:32was presented with an honorary doctorate by Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah.

00:38He also addressed employees and university students at the Turkey-Malaysia Strategic

00:42Cooperation in the New Century event.

00:45Malaysia's Foreign Ministry said Erdogan's visit reaffirms the solid relations between

00:50the two nations.

00:51Last year, Turkey became Malaysia's third-largest trading partner, largest export destination,

00:58and fourth-largest import source among West Asia countries.

01:01After his visit in Malaysia, Erdogan will continue his trip to Indonesia and Pakistan.
